Art as Therapy

How all life on Earth interacts is key to using art as therapy. As we humans sort through our own needs and adaptations to life's struggles art can reveal more than we imagined.

A crow deposits a seed from a wax myrtle tree into a potted plant that sits in the yard. Soon a seedling can be noticed. After transplanting the seedling into the yard it has taken root and is growing into a healthy wax myrtle tree. Artist, Susan Johnston, finds inspiration for using art as therapy from this.
